  • What do I need to get my driver license?

    You must be at least 16 years old and have passed your G1 written test.

  • Our Professional, experienced, certified In Car Instructors provide you all the knowledge which helps you improve your skill to be a safe driver, and help you to get on the road asap. Passing depends on how you perform your driving skills on the road test.
    Unfortunately, we cannot give any specific guarantees that our students will pass- but this does not mean we won’t do our best to set you up for success! There are many factors involved when it comes to the road test, but you and your instructor will know when you are ready. Our success rate for student’s road tests is quite high.

  • Failure is not the end of the road, in fact it brings experience in disguise, You can retake your road test after a grace period of 10 days.

  • Yes. Car Driving School is MTO certified which offers Beginners Drivers Education course, currently serving various cities within Ontario (and expanding!).

  • BDE certificates are honoured and widely accepted by most of the Auto Insurance companies. Insurance premiums are calculated based on BDE courses, postal code, driving history, age etc.

  • No driving schools in Ontario are authorized to issue paper certificates to students who have completed BDE courses. In order to get your certification, you must clear all outstanding balances, then you are required to visit any Service Canada location and ask for a ‘Driving License History Record’, pay a fee of $12.00, and receive your paper copy! Don’t forget to take your License with you.

  • Yes, once you select the road test package with minimum in car lessons.

  • Your international Driving Permit is not an Ontario Driving License. Due to this, you will first have to get your G1 license before beginning road lessons. You can enter your previous experience when you are in the process of getting your G1, this will help you fast-track the process! In some cases, you can be eligible to get your G2 or G within a week.

  • Due to the pandemic, you are only eligible to take online courses to complete your BDE certification, which you can do at your own pace- including weekends! While we can’t guarantee your in-car lessons only happen on the weekends, we can try our best to accommodate you.

  • Of course! Our instructors are trained to work within our students’ comfort zones and to teach according to their needs. We can help make you feel more confident behind the wheel, just make sure to let your Instructor know this is an area you need help with!

  • You’re able to start your in-car lessons after finishing your online course (20 Hours).

  • If you do your BDE course with us, you will choose your driving instructor when you register for the course, and you will then receive their contact information.
    If you do not do the BDE course with us, then you will be put into contact with any available instructors in your area.

  • You have two options

    • To do it yourself, go online to www.drivetest.ca, fill out your information and follow the instructions given.
    • OR, we can do it for you- but we charge a nominal fee for doing so!

  • MTO requires a minimum of 10 hours in-car training. Every individual learns differently. If you need you may always book more in-car lessons as per your need through our website.

  • Certainly it's a great idea to make use of every opportunity to get behind the wheels, however you have to be accompanied by the experienced and qualified driver all the time in the passenger seat. Don't forget to check with the insurance if you are covered. Also be mindful and take extra care as your car won't be having dual brakes.
